2018-2019 School Advisory Board Members

Mrs. Shirley Bautista
I have attended and graduated from a Catholic school at my country of origin. I married my high school sweetheart and currently have two boys who attend Pre-k and Kindergarten. This will be our third year at St. Mary’s. We have felt in love with the school and staff since day one for their generosity and dedication. This is my first year as part of the School Advisory Board and I am very exited to be a member of this great community.

Mr. Dinis Camara
Chairman
I have served as a member of the School Advisory Board since the 2015-2016 school year.  I grew up in St. Mary's Parish and graduated from St. Mary's in 1991.  I've served as a member of the Planning, Policy and Assessment committee.  I also chair the Alumni Subcommittee which is also known as the St. Mary's School Alumni Association.  I currently have a 5th grader and a 3rd grader who are excited to go to St. Mary's!

Mrs. Anne Fullerton
I am serving my first year as the Technology Committee is now part of the SAB. I have two daughters attending St. Mary's- one in kindergarten and one in second grade. We came to St. Mary's when my older daughter started in preschool at age 3, and my husband and I were drawn to the close-knit, loving, family atmosphere that St. Mary's provides.

Mr. Tim Hannan
I am serving my fist year on the board. I grew up in the Washington DC area attending Catholic schools. I started work in Commercial Real Estate and Mortgage Banking. I then worked as a teacher in both Archdiocesan schools and Montgomery County Public Schools. I have also taught CCD at St. Mary's. I have been a parishioner of St. Mary's since 1979 with Mary Elizabeth, my wife of 32 years, until her passing in 2014. I found strength with prayer and my Catholic beliefs.

Mrs. Laura Long
Secretary
Laura and her husband, Adam (an alumnus of St. Mary’s School), have been parishioners of St. Mary’s Church since 2002. They were married at St. Mary’s Church, and their two children were baptized there as well. Both of their sons attend St. Mary’s School, as a third grader and Kindergartener. This is Laura’s second year serving on the School Advisory Board, and she will continue as part of the Planning, Policy and Assessment Subcommittee. She is excited to serve the engaged and supportive school community of educators and families.

Mr. Albert Martinez
My wife and I have been members of St. Mary's Parish since 1998. Our one child is now in 7th grade here at St. Mary's School. I have served as a member of the School Advisory Board since the 2015-2016 school year.   I am currently serving as a member of the Development and Fundraising committee. I volunteer where I can and enjoy the camaraderie of my fellow parents and the dedicated St. Mary's staff and our commitment to work collectively to make the school the best for all the children.

Mr. Jim Marks
Vice Chairman and Liaison to Finance Council
I am a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Parish and attended St. Mary’s School, as did my 5 siblings. I joined the School Advisory Board during the 2015-2016 school year and I serve as Chair of the Finance Subcommittee. I currently have a 6th grader and a 3rd grader at the school, and I coach basketball for St. Mary’s CYO and City of Rockville teams. My wife, Jill, is an Educator at a Catholic high school, and we feel strongly about the benefits of the Catholic education St. Mary's provides.

Ms. Beth Rodda

She is also on the strategic planning committee.

Mr. Jesse Stahr
Jesse Stahr married into a big Catholic St. Mary's family and has has never looked back. His three kids, in 3rd grade, 1st Grade and Preschool, have thrived in the home-away-from-home feel of St. Mary's School since 2012. Jesse is a construction manager by trade and a new member of the Strategic Planning Committee.

Mrs. Kelley Terry
HSA Representative
I am a lifelong member of the St. Mary’s Parish. I have a 6th grader at the school. I have served on the Home School Association since 2012. I volunteer where ever is needed. St. Mary’s school never ceases to amaze me how driven our community is when it comes to our children and their education. That drive is equaled only by the passion and dedication of our St. Mary’s teachers and staff.

Mrs. Elissa Totin
Elissa Totin and her husband, Brett McNish, have been parishioners of St. Mary’s Catholic Church since 2006 when they moved to the area. They have one daughter, Isabel, who is in third grade, and a son, Pablo, who is in Kindergarten. This is Elissa’s second year serving on the school advisory board.

Mrs. Karin Walker
Karin Walker has a St. Mary's grad and current fifth grader. She has volunteered on the Gala Committee every year and helps at many of the school dances.
