Instrumental Music Timeline
- Students sign up online using the Online Enrollment Form. Paper Enrollment forms will be handed out the week of September 5. Enrollment deadline is September 16.
- Ms. Weich will meet with students in small groups to confirm their instrument choices. After deciding on an instrument, students receive a short supply list and a list of local music stores.
- Classes will begin the first week of October.**If you are a beginning violin, viola, or cello and have an instrument ready in September before the first class, please bring the week before the first lesson so Ms. Weich can start the initial tuning.

About Ms. Weich:
Ms. Weich graduated with a degree in Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory. She is a Rockville native who graduated from Walter Johnson High School. Ms. Weich taught instrumental music at the Archdiocese of Washington for 4 years before coming to MCPS. She spent 3 years as a general music teacher for MCPS before returning to instrumental music.
Ms. Weich's primary instrument is the clarinet. She plays all the other woodwind instruments, including the recorder, in the pit orchestras of local theatre companies. Her favorite color is purple, and she enjoys making cosplay costumes in her spare time.
